Planning for Shifting Trade Workshop
This popular AAPA program has traditionally addressed global economic trends with key industry leaders providing their insights on shifting trade routes and the resulting impact on infrastructure needs. New this year will be a look at the political challenges facing free trade policies, the instability in the ocean carrier industry, and an increased emphasis in the program on how ports can use master planning and other planning tools to address land use and changing infrastructure needs in the face of shifting trade.
There will be significant changes in worldwide trade lanes in the next few years. Don't miss this one-of-a kind program geared toward meeting the needs of ports confronting this change. The workshop is co-sponsored by the Transportation Research Board, in partnership with the American Planning Association Florida Chapter,
and presented in cooperation with the U.S. Maritime Administration. It will be hosted by Port Tampa Bay.
